  1. I scored a 14 out of 15. I figured the government would prohibit such an non-politically correct move, using the Bible in a public school is an "outrageous" in our liberal society today. To my surprise, a public school teacher can use the Bible as a literature reference. I have attended a Catholic school for 12 years, so I know my religion better than most people. Being Catholic, I not only studied my faith in depth, I have learned about other gods and religions as well. This, I believe, is how I have scored above average in the ratings against other religions.

  2. I scored a 9 of of 15 on the quiz which is better than 62% of the population. Even though it is is not considered a good score on an academic scale, it is in this case. This could be attributed to the fact that I have been in a private catholic school for over 12 years. I have been required to take courses studying the bible, morality, world religions, ect. . . Of the groups represented, I consider myself a white catholic whose median score was 51%. While I don't see a 61% as having a 'high religious IQ', I am pleased to know that I scored higher then people similar to me. My dad will be happy to know that all of the tuition he has paid is paying off;)

  3. As for the religious survey, I knew I wasn’t going to do so well. I scored a 6 out of 15. I scored higher than 30% of the public, but below 59% of the public. I knew most of the questions dealing with law and the Supreme Court but I had no clue about the rest of the questions.
I’m surprised I even got 6 correct. But I was very surprised to read that atheists and agnostics scored higher than Protestants and Catholics on a test about religious knowledge.
I don’t really have anything left to say about this topic. I’m drawing a blank. I used to go to church as a young girl, but that was ages ago. I don’t really have a label of what religion I practice or follow or agree with. Who am I to judge different religions when I know nothing about any of them?

  4. I scored a 5 out of 15. I scored below 70% of the public population and higher than 19% of the public population. I'm shocked I was successful at five of those questions considering I only guessed. I imagine this reflects how much religion means to me but to each his own I suppose. About three questions were about teaching about religion in a public school and for me I just knew the answers. But since I don't know what you really want me to say, all I can say is this: This quiz doesn't state if I am a terrible person or a fantastic person, it only states that I'm not involved in religion all that much.

  5. I scored a 12 out of 15. I was not really surprised at the score that I recieved. I scored about 87% of the public and higher than 7% of the public. I feel as though I scored as high because I went to Catholic school my whole life, but still some of those questions, to me, seemed more like common knowledge. I cannot really say that thought because I have been religious my whole life, so I do not really know what it is like to not be religious.

  6. I score a 7 out of 15, which doesn't really surprise me. It doesn't surprise me because most of the questions were about the catholic religion, and I am not catholic, and I don't know a lot about other religion either. I am a religious person, but not in the catholic way. So my score didn't really surprise me the least bit.

  7. My score was 11/15 which means that I was in the 73rd percentile. This score really did not surprise me to much becuase I am Catholic and they had quite a few questions that were related to the Catholic or Jewish religion whose principles are rather similar. When they started asking questions about the Eastern religions I was rather at a loss because I really don't have an interest in them. That does not mean that I don't think they have their own merits for I believe there is a little truth in everything, but I would rather spend time learning more about my own religion than about somebody elses. This might be a somewhat selfish world view, but I believe it is better to have a firm graspe on your own beliefs before you start studying what other religions believe.

  8. Answering eight out ten questions correctly, I compared my score with other samples. I was actually surprised to see that catholic was not higher in average scores, because it is a dominate religion in many residents around the nation. Answering questions about Catholicism and Jewish religion came easier to me than easter religions.

  9. I scored 11 out of the 15 question, giving me a 73 percentile. This means that I scored better than 80 percent of the public, but below 13 percent; which I actually find quite surprising, I expected my score to be much less. The questions I seemed to get right were any of the ones dealing with the main religions over here; questions involving the Christian or Catholic religion.

  10. I scored a 6 out of 15 not a great score but i scored better than 30 percent of the public who have taken the quiz and i fell i do not know much about religion. I do not know much about other religions to where i feel comfortable answering questions with the best of my ability so on those I just took a guess.
